Welcome to The City Academy, Bristol
Since opening, everyone at the Academy has been committed to raising standards. Over the past four years, we have been acclaimed for our work in improving our academic achievements of young people and we are now one of the top performing schools in England for the value added to children's education.
Apart from ensuring that our students achieve success in examinations, we are also concerned that they develop as positive citizens for the future. We encourage responsibility, leadership and a pride in the Academy. Second best is not good enough for our students and, in return, we do not accept second best from them. |

Special Feature
On Saturday 10th November, Kanesha Sterling won the World United Martial Arts European Competition which was held this year in Worcester. Competitors came from all over Europe determined to win a prestigious title. Kanesha who is only 14 years old and attends The City Academy, Bristol fought brilliantly dominating the girl's senior points and continuous sections. She then had to fight all the girls who won their sections for the European Grand Championship (more...) |
